Same old, same old today. I did manage to get in a picture for a CU assignment.

37/365: Poor Charlotte
Today we did some gardening. We have a nice tomato on our plants and lots of buds and flowers! YAY! While I was looking for buds and new tomatoes, I found this poor little guy on one of the plants.
RIP Pal.

36/365: Brusha Brusha Brusha
Since 365 is about everyday life, here is something we do every day. Morning and night. Sometimes in between if the mood strikes.
This is Juli's toothbrush. She tells me this is her favorite part of her bedtime routine.

35/365: Space Cadet
I took Juli to the doctor this afternoon for a little pimple like lump that turned out to be a cyst. Don't worry they said it should go away on it's own, they see it all the time, it's harmless.
Anyway, all of the exam rooms are painted in a theme. We were in the space room. Juli was pretending to be an astronaut, so I took a picture of her "in space" with her space station. She told me she was looking for moon rocks.

34/365: There was a little girl, who had a little curl...
When she was good, she was really really good. When she was bad she was horrid.
Ok so Livi isn't really horrid. Tonight she was being a bit of a bugger though. She usually goes right into her crib and goes to to sleep on her own. Tonight she was freaking out every time her head hit the mattress. I tried to let her fuss it out a bit, but she was not having it.
I finally laid her on my bed while I put some stuff away. Little bugger fell right asleep. As I looked at her, I marveled at her sweet little ringlets in hair and wondered where she gets them.

33/365: Refuge
I spent most of today either on the couch or in bed. My sister-in-law took Juli for the night and today. My sister came after she was done work today to hang out with Livi and Juli when she got home.
I was miserable most of the day, some point later in the evening my fever finally broke and I started feeling much better.

32/365: I'm down
This morning I woke up with a sore throat and by noon I knew I had strep throat again. I've had it more times than I can even remember already this year. Luckily my doctor knows this and didn't even make me come in to get my antibiotics. I couldn't make it into the office anyway since I had to make through a meeting with my CEO and the CEOs of the two banks that own us.
I did manage to take my 365 shot before I feel into bed with a 103.5 fever.

31/365: The Band Tower
The girls and I went for a walk tonight. We ended up over by the playground where there is a huge Verizon Wireless tower. I grabbed a few shots with the CU Telecommunications assignment in mind. Juli asked me why I was taking pictures of "that band". I said, "It's a tower." She replied, "No Mommy, it's a band. See the drums and music (pronounced muse-gick) up there." LOL
Ah through the eyes of a child. I'm not sure if it will be my CU shot, but it will be my 365 shot for today.

30/365: Love & Laughter
We were having thunderstorms tonight and the power was dipping in and out. Juli and I found some flashlights and prepared for a blackout. We never exactly got a blackout, but we did have a bunch of fun. We tried to do some lightwriting, but I learned we stink at that. This picture came from me setting the timer on my camera and running and hopping on the bed before it took a picture. Apparently this is really funny to a 3 and a half year old.

29/365: Bath Toes
After a long hard day, Juli got a nice relaxing bath after dinner tonight. I love wrinkly little kid toes. I guess I can't really call them baby toes anymore... sigh.

28/365: PunkRock
I went out looking for shoes today. I have been on a hunt for casual summer shoes. So far nothing has caught my eye. I did see these shoes that I thought would be perfect for the CU Punk Rock Assignment!
I did not buy them! LOL I just took a picture of them!

27/365: Spinning, Laughing, Dancing
We are in day 5 of a heat wave. I went out back for a minute and noticed the thermometer on the back of the house was reading 101.5. Needless to say, we spent the day inside finding other ways to entertain ourselves.
I tried to blur the background because I thought it was too distracting. I'm not sure if I like it or not. I'm still working on my PSE skills.

26/365: Floating
Today was a crazy day. We were all set to go to Great Adventure for my dad's birthday with our whole family and my aunt and cousins. The tickets for all three parks were purchased weeks ago. I ran around like a nut last night and this morning packing and getting all of our stuff together. We hop in the car bright and early this morning and we get 3/4 of the way to my sister's house and Olivia threw up ALL over herself, the car, her carseat. Juli had also been coughing a lot. We were 2 blocks from my brother and sister's apartment so I gave them our tickets and had to head home. Luckily they found someone to give them to.
Juli was REALLY disappointed that we couldn't go. Livi fell asleep on the way home and I guess it made her feel better. She was fine the rest of the day. So we decided to go out in the little pool for a while. Juli found this flower and put it in her bucket and told me she had a beautiful present to make me smile. It certainly did.

25/365: Rice Krispies Thieves
Not the best picture I have taken lately, but it was kind of funny. Livi has that busted look on her face, but I think she was just mid-krispy. I went to the dryer to grab the clothes out and this is what I found when I got back. Not sure how Juli got the rice krispies since they were on a shelf in the pantry. Guess it's time to lock the pantry!

24/365: Sweet!
I had frappacino on the brain all morning so at lunch time I decided to head over to the Starbucks in the Barnes & Noble. I also got an Italian Pannini while I was there. SO good!

23/365: Turn up the Heat
Yes that is a window air conditioner in my bedroom. Our brand new central air kicked the bucket today. We have had them out multiple times since the install and it hasn't ever really gotten cold. They were out again today and it was working (still not COLD though) when they left. When I got home from work, it was 84 degrees in my family room. I had to have my brother-in-law come over and throw in the window unit. They are coming back on Friday. Hopefully the problem will be solved then!!

22/365: Don't Wake the Baby
After a long day at school, Livi crashed hard. I was in and out of her room and she never stirred. If only her big sister would sleep like that...

21/365: Reflection in a Motorcycle Mirror
While James and Juli cleaned the wheels of his motorcycle I played around with my camera a little. It was starting to get dark and the lighting was not really cooperating, but I did manage to get a few self-portraits.

20/365: Flying
We spent most of today doing work around the house - yard work, cleaning, shopping, etc. Of course it can't be all work and no play. I took a little time out to play with the girls. Juli wanted to "fly." She later asked me if she could be Supergirl when she grew up. LOL

19/365: Mohawk
For Chrissy's bachelorette party we started our night out at the Copa on South Street. This guy was with a group that sat down next to us. Interesting hair do.

18/365: Taking in the View
I went over to Valley Forge National Park during lunch today to take some pictures. This is not the spot I wanted to go to, but I ended up lost in the park even though I have been there plenty of times before. I saw some beautiful things that I would like to take pictures of and can't wait to go back again.

17/365: Rock Bottom
James came to meet me for lunch today. We went to Rock Bottom Brewery in the mall. It was nice to eat a hot meal without interruptions from the kids!

16/365: Reflections ~ Napkin Ring
NGWC Challenge #3. Self portrait reflection. Here I am in a nutshell, er I mean napkin ring. I'm not sure I'm crazy about it, but we'll see if I can come up with anything better.

15/365: Livi's 15 Month Appointment
We took Livi to her 15 month appointment today. She did great. She is 27 pounds and is 32.5 inches long! She got two shots but only cried for a second.

14/365: Rain Rain Go Away
Today was a strange day. Rain would come in heavy downpours and then it would lighten and the sun would come out. A little while later the heavy downpours would begin again.

13/365: Yard Work
The last few days were spend getting a lot of stuff done in the yard. We re-potted our tomato plants and did a lot of much needed weeding and mulching. These flowers were put into planters on the deck. They should perk up nicely and hopefully my black thumbs won't kill them!!

12/365: Sleep eating
Since Juli is still with my parents, James, Livi and I went out to eat for dinner. Livi must have really been tired. She fell asleep eating her dinner!! Yes she really is sleeping while still chewing on her pickle!

10/365: Reflections of Me
Today my office closed early and the girls were still at school so James and I took a ride over to Bryn Athyn Cathedral for a photo shoot. The architecture there is great and I think I got some really nice shots!

9/365: Late
I'm supposed to be at work at 8am. Everyday around that time I find myself just leaving the girls at daycare to go to my job that is about 35 minutes away. I'm lucky if I make it in before 9am these days.

8/365: Drive Time
Not much going on today. I felt like I was in the car forever today. It was really no more than usual, but the commute was getting to me.
